My name is Ulrike Spang-Lessnow. I am Founder and CEO of FUTUREPROOF RETAIL, a strategy and transformation consultancy supporting companies in creating growth, international expansion and business model innovation. With more than 25 years of international leadership experience, I have worked across industries and markets – from local organizations to global corporations
Before founding FUTUREPROOF RETAIL, I held senior roles at international companies such as IKEA, Intersport and Douglas. In my most recent role as Global Commercial Manager at Inter IKEA Systems, I was responsible for the global commercial strategy, including omnichannel sales frameworks, brand and marketing direction, retail and interior design, the IKEA FOOD business as well as business development across all IKEA markets worldwide.
I hold an Executive MBA in Business Engineering and Transformation from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) in Switzerland and was recognized multiple times by Capital Magazine as one of the ´Top 40 under 40´ business leaders.
Within the Global Market Entry Program, I support Dutch entrepreneurs and SMEs through strategy workshops and practical guidance – helping them to explore new markets, unlock growth opportunities and strengthen their international positioning.
